Ethylene propylene diene monomer, more commonly referred to as EPDM, is an extremely durable synthetic rubber roofing membrane that is commonly used worldwide. EPDM is available in both black and white, and can be enhanced with commercial roof coatings.

TPO stands for thermoplastic polyolefin, a single-ply roofing membrane that covers the surface of a roof. While it has plastic in the name, it’s actually a blend of polypropylene and ethylene-propylene rubber, which has more flexible rubber-like qualities.

A commercial roof coating system is an application of a protective layer to the exterior surface of your building, typically a commercial flat roof. Nearly all commercial roofs can be coated. Some require special treatment, such as ballasted and gravel surface roofs.
